Comments: I’m a boilermaker on an remote oil rig and I needed a reliable compact mig welder with a decent amp range to weld some thicker materials if needed but remain small and compact for confined spaces. This welder has been very reliable in the harshest of conditions so far. It was a gamble having an inverter machine in the desert on 50+ degree days and extremely dusty conditions. A++

Comments: Just purchased this today and thoroughly enjoyed learning how to use it. Great welds. Only thing is that it didn’t come with a hose clamp to connect the gas to the gas barb on the back of the machine. It did come with the regulator and hose. But no big deal as I had a small clamp that did the job. It was an easy decision to purchase with the 10 year warranty!

Heavy duty mig handle and 4 meters in length makes a big difference on jobs to 3 meters on competitors welders. Italian built and not chinese !!! Couldn't be an happier !

A REVIEW FROM OUR TECHNICAL TEAM:
What are the stand-out features of this machine? 1) Controls are very easy to use/follow , 2) Dual input mode allows use on either 10A or 15A power supply, 3) Great combination of power and portability, very compact and lightweight.
Who would benefit most from this machine? Operators needing a powerful but very portable MIG machine, capable of operating off either 10A or 15A power supply. Great choice for field, site & trade use.
Any not-so-obvious features we should know about? 250A Euro-fit 4m MIG torch is a great feature. Too often, portable 240V machines are fitted with torches that are too light. Especially important when welding with gasless wire; without the cooling effect of gas, the torch heats up faster and smaller/under-sized torches cannot cope.
Limitations to be aware of? Not spool-gun compatible, if spool gun is required, we recommend 200MST or 205MST models. Also, not suitable for TIG welding of aluminium (MIG is fine) - this requires AC/DC TIG capability, such as the Weldforce 202T.
Other comments? Arguably the most affordable European-made 200A multi-function MIG readily available in Australia, with a 4-year warranty.
