The Weldclass story

 

100% Australian Family-Owned

We're an Australian, Family-Owned company, 100% owned in Australia, run by Australian people.

Weldclass was founded in a town in regional Australia (Tamworth NSW) and our head office is still located there today.

 

A little bit of history

In the early 1900's, the forebears of the founder of Weldclass pioneered mechanical engineering in Australia, then later invented metal coating technologies that are still being used globally.

Examples of this work that remain today include; Historic Buildings at Sydney’s Olympic Park (remnants of what was the first mechanised abattoirs in Australia), and pipeline infrastructure powering Sydney’s water supply via the Warragamba Dam project.

The same values that drove these pioneers still motivate us every day at Weldclass:

Our Distributors

Weldclass products are sold through our network of over 1,000 distributors across Australia and the South Pacific region. 

We want the Weldclass experience to be readily available to welders and metal fabricators everywhere, and our distributors are a vital and valued 'link in the chain'.

We strive to partner with our distributors to help them – and their customers - become more successful, by supporting them with training, market-leading merchandising systems, and strong after sales support.
