How likely would you be to recommend this product to a friend? (10 = very likely) = 10 Comments:
So far I have only set it up and done a small amount of welding getting used to the settings. I’m trialling 0.6mm wire that I had from a previous project, welding 2mm mild steel , so far I am very impressed. Coming from a unimig that failed just out of warranty period, I have been telling anyone that is looking for a new welder to check out the weldclass machines. Previous experience with one of the small arc welders lead me to buy an mig also. As it’s a very impressive little welder for its size and price.
Only thing I did not know when ordering this machine is there are 2 different plug styles for the spool guns, this machine has a 4 ping, I have a spool gun that is 7 pin, if I knew I would have looked at a machine that has a 7 pin plug. I haven’t yet found any information as to if I can adapt my 7 pin spool gun to 4 pin to be able to use it with this machine. 03/08/26 3:10 PM

Comments:
Used the stick first off as this is what I'm most used to. I'm upgrading from a VERY old arc welder with no adjustments. So with my first weld, I had too much amperage and burnt through the steel. But with the Weldclass I can adjust the amps, and very quickly found the right setting for the steel and laid down some very clean and neat welds. Toggling through the settings is straight forward, and I can't wait to try out the MIG capabilities tomorrow. I'll be trying gasless first, and then switching to gas later. Coming from both an old arc and flaky old Mig welder to a new multi offering is a blessing. Light weight and reduces space in the garage. 7yr warranty is a BONUS. 01/05/26 6:06 PM
