Upgraded from a cheap flip down mask to the 150, which is also a cheap option but miles better, now I don’t have to jerk my head down and go in for the weld blind. I added a 1.5 Magnifying lens as I need to where 1.5 glasses. It made it a lot easier than having to wear glasses instead, where they usually fog up. The Auto lens works well and makes it very easy to use. My old helmet was about 12 years old and I can not believe the improvements that have been made over the years. I suppose that is the way of the world is these days with improvements and discoveries that have been made to improve things. Also the adjustments make it easier to have the Helmet on the proper settings where my old helmet did not have different settings. The Instruction Manual is also easy to follow.

Comments: Quick delivery time considering it came from WA, would definitely buy from this company again. The promax 650 is a quality helmet, very comfortable on your head and easy to set up with plenty of settings to dial it in to your liking. The large viewing and optics provide a clear view of the weld puddle as well as the surrounding area. The external grind button is definitely worth the extra money over the 600. Should have got one of these years ago instead of wasting my money on cheap helmets that you are unable to change the batteries or get spate parts. 27/12/23 17:29

It has saved me a lot of money in shirts i can feel heat and i don’t get burnt arms pockets are handy easy to take on and off with velcro coller to protect neck from spark and it is ideal for welding as well as grinding and oxyacetylene

This is the second packet of rods that I have purchased, and have found them very easy to weld with. At present time I am teaching my 15 year old grandson to weld, he is doing a good job and the welding is at a good standard for someone learning.

This welder is extremely easy to use and the first couple if welds I did with mild steel rods, turned out really nicely with no slag inclusions or undercut. The next couple of welds using stainless rods, came up just as good if not better. I'm really happy with this machine so far. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out when I read through the warranty T's & C's, that if purchased after 1st January 2023 (as I did), the extended warranty period if registered within 30 days of purchase, turns out to be 7 Years. That's awesome. I will definitely be telling all my mates about this product and your extended warranty deal. Great Stuff !

I am a retired 76-year-old radio tech who has a passion for manufacturing garden ornaments and fern houses, I have found this helmet that I have purchased a vast improvement on what I have been using previously as far as clarity of the job at hand prior to striking arc. The vision for myself whilst welding I have found to be a lot more comfortable and visibility being excellent. My purchased this helmet from the mentioned company at the 2023 Farm Fest at an excellent price I have been very happy with this purchase. Unfortunately I forgot to fill out the warranty form by the correct date, whilst been pleased with my purchase I thought I would give you the feedback anyway.

Recently used several spools of this wire for a light structural site fabrication job. The wire ran like silk on all joints in all positions including 1F, 1G, 2F, 3F, 3G, 4F and 4G all used / experienced on this job. There was minimal spatter once the voltages were tweaked and the penetration appeared good during the weld process. Both well prepared joints and other less perfect joint preparations were experienced, all of which were addresses with ease using this FCAW filler wire. It has good operator appeal, slag removal is easy and the "dust" from the flux cloud is easily removed withi minimal effort. Multi pass welds were a breeze with minimal inter-layer preparation or rework required.

Glad I spend the extra money and brought a better helmet, it is lovely to be able to see so well while welding. The large view is nice too, don't have to lift the helmet so much to see when not welding. The only thing is the head band could be a little better. Would highly recommend this helmet to anyone.

I purchased this welder after reading some reviews and found it to be a great welder.. It’s easy to set up & use.. I’m mainly using the gasless mig application for farm jobs, like welding 6mm wall thickness 50mm round pipe & cattlerail in cattle yards.. For me, it’s versatile due to being able to be used in a normal 10 amp power point, it’s light in weight, yet still has some guts for welding.. I am using the 0.8 mm Weldclass Platinum GL - 11, flux cored wire.. I was really surprised how good this welder is & I would highly recommend it..

I added a 1.5 Magnifying lens as I need to where 1.5 glasses. It made it a lot easier than having to wear glasses instead, where they usually fog up. The Auto lens works well and makes it very easy to use. My old helmet was about 12 years old and I can not believe the improvements that have been made over the years. I suppose that is the way of the world is these days with improvements and discoveries that have been made to improve things. Also the adjustments make it easier to have the Helmet on the proper settings where my old helmet did not have different settings. The Instruction Manual is also easy to follow.

The promax 650 is a quality helmet, very comfortable on your head and easy to set up with plenty of settings to dial it in to your liking. The large viewing and optics provide a clear view of the weld puddle as well as the surrounding area. The external grind button is definitely worth the extra money over the 600. This welder is extremely easy to use and the first couple if welds I did with mild steel rods, turned out really nicely with no slag inclusions or undercut. The next couple of welds using stainless rods, came up just as good if not better. I'm really happy with this machine so far. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out when I read through the warranty T's & C's, that if purchased after 1st January 2023 (as I did), the extended warranty period if registered within 30 days of purchase, turns out to be 7 Years. That's awesome. I will definitely be telling all my mates about this product and your extended warranty deal. Great Stuff !

I am a retired 76-year-old radio tech who has a passion for manufacturing garden ornaments and fern houses, I have found this helmet that I have purchased a vast improvement on what I have been using previously as far as clarity of the job at hand prior to striking arc. The vision for myself whilst welding I have found to be a lot more comfortable and visibility being excellent. My purchased this helmet from the mentioned company at the 2023 Farm Fest at an excellent price I have been very happy with this purchase. Recently used several spools of this wire for a light structural site fabrication job. The wire ran like silk on all joints in all positions including 1F, 1G, 2F, 3F, 3G, 4F and 4G all used / experienced on this job. There was minimal spatter once the voltages were tweaked and the penetration appeared good during the weld process. Both well prepared joints and other less perfect joint preparations were experienced, all of which were addresses with ease using this FCAW filler wire. It has good operator appeal, slag removal is easy and the "dust" from the flux cloud is easily removed withi minimal effort. Multi pass welds were a breeze with minimal inter-layer preparation or rework required.

Excellent quality gloves, all other brands I have tried last about a month before the stitching fails rendering the gloves useless. I have had these gloves for 6 months so far and are like new, besides the colour of them

I purchased this welder after reading some reviews and found it to be a great welder.. It’s easy to set up & use.. I’m mainly using the gasless mig application for farm jobs, like welding 6mm wall thickness 50mm round pipe & cattlerail in cattle yards.. For me, it’s versatile due to being able to be used in a normal 10 amp power point, it’s light in weight, yet still has some guts for welding.. I am using the 0.8 mm Weldclass Platinum GL - 11, flux cored wire.. I was really surprised how good this welder is & I would highly recommend it..

Rewarding experience !! Sales people are most professional. Spoke to 3 salesmen regarding Weldclass wire, all answered my questions with knowledge of products. Rare to see in this day of the no care attitude. Makes one anxious to visit store again, even though nothing may be on the wanting to buy list. Weldclass is a tough product and second to none. I have been using these gloves Lefts for years very good quality and I don't know how they make them for the price. I bought mine off trade tools for 13.90 for the pair and have wreckamended them to all my friends and work mates.
