The story behind the new Weldclass Logo
It starts in the early 1900s
When the forebears of the founder of Weldclass pioneered mechanical engineering in Australia, then later invented metal coating technologies that are still being used globally.
Examples of this work that remain standing, and in use today, include;
Historic Buildings at Sydney’s Olympic Park (Homebush) - remnants of what was the first mechanised abattoirs in Australia.
And the pipeline infrastructure powering Sydney’s water supply, via the Warragamba Dam project.
Fast-forward to today
And the same values that drove these pioneers still motivate us every day at Weldclass.

A need to refresh our brand identity
Due to an expanding distributor network and sustained growth, it became clear that we needed to refresh our brand identity.
When we reflected on the values that drove those pioneers, a new logo design emerged.
Notice the four, clear components of the Weldclass logo;
The letter 'W' - depicting Weldclass as a trusted supplier for every Welder & Metal Fabricator
The 'Star' - depicts the customer & the goal to help them - be outstanding
The 'World' - depicts world-class tools & equipment
The 'Welder's Spark' depicts our contribution to the success of every welding or metal fabrication project

In the months ahead, you will see this brand evolution take shape on all Weldclass products and communications.

I have tried a lot of gas less wire as wanted to steer away from high costs of bottle rental. Your gassless platinum wire is weld magic. I feel the new branding is a good step in the right direction. The new display arrangements for stock stand out and catch the eye which is good. The fact that you are Australian based and also export to the Pacific region is important as Australians are more likely to support a home grown business, regardless of price, at the moment due to the restrictions on travel etc. Good quality items at a fair price and backed by a proficient supply chain. I decided to treat myself to new safety gear a couple of years ago and after a LOT of online research couldn't really go pass the Weldclass range for helmet, Hi-Vis jacket and leather gloves. I am only a hobby welder, but feeling comfortable in good protective clothing means I can maintain a more reliable and consistent work quality without being hampered for either vision of the weld area or knowing my safety is compromised. I am new to welding and started to use some gasless Hobart wire and it was spitting and not welding correctly my welding was crap and I gave up thinking I was no good at welding. I was given some weldclass gasless wire to try ""WOW"" what a difference this wire made to my welding, I improved 100%. Love this wire and I will be buying this in the future. Well, yes, there's for sure some serious marketing spin going on there with the five W's and the weld spark. Yep, it's an obvious logo which will stick in my mind. But, way more important than all that spin is the fact that Weldclass stuff is actually good and a sensible price. I love my Promax helmets ... have one setup straight and then one with a magnifier. I have been using weldclass for a few years and I also sell the weldclass products in my regional hardware store. With a fabrication back ground I have found that the Weldclass wires have produced a great finish, the GL-11 wire amazed me as I generally do not like the finish of gasless welding but after using the GL-11 Wire I will happily be using it for all my outdoor applications. Just bought a couple of packs of SS and Steel TIG Filler rods and found the steel rod really clean. XL Gloves cover and sized well.
