Helping to break down barriers for people in wheelchairs to engage in sport
Weldclass has donated $500 to Wheelchair Sports NSW... enabling the purchase of another wheelchair to add to WNSW's "fleet".
Physical activity is important for our health and well-being, but it is even more important for those in a wheelchair.
By making sports wheelchairs available for public use, WNSW continues to break down barriers for people in wheelchairs to engage in sport - regardless of their age or competence.
In the case of school students in wheelchairs, this also allows their classmates to join in - an excellent initiative to facilitate peer support for these students!
