A massive thank you to the many Weldclass customers who participated in our "nominate-a-charity" program. This is now the fourth Christmas we have run this program... and once again we recieved a long list of hard-working Australian charities which our customers were keen to see us support.
How it works: Weldclass reach out to our customers across Australia, asking them to nominate a charity. A winner is drawn from the many charities submitted and Weldclass then donates to that nominee.
In 2020 the winning nominee was Beyond Blue

Childhood Cancer Support
Here's what motivated Paul to make this nomination;
"In September 2020, my 10 year old little boy was diagnosed with Leukaemia. While the shock and enormity of the news was horrible, it meant we had to find somewhere local to the Queensland Children's Hospital to base ourselves from. Luckily we were able to stay at the CCS Herston Facility, in a 2 bedroom unit. This gave us help when we needed it most. We were able to have family stay (which was impossible with other places during Covid). They provided food and shelter, and a free bus service, close to the hospital. Our stay was a lot shorter than most folks, a lot of people stay for 12 months, and this charity, that no one knows is there until you need it, then it becomes invaluable. I could not think of a better place to give your money too than to support of sick children. I want them to be there for the next family who face the darkest of days please support them."
This a fantastic yet widely unknown cause that Weldclass is very pleased to support... and we think our customers will agree!
